Fine antique French .800 (nearly sterling) silver 2" diameter napkin ring, 80% pure silver with ornate guilloche style machined or engraved bands top and bottom including wreaths and floral garland! This one bears the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, 2nd quality for .800 silver content (the tiny number "2" within the mark designates 80% pure and so just under the .925 standard for sterling silver). There is a date mark on the inside, the French insect mark but I've never learned to decipher those. No silversmith mark that I can find bur surely dates to the late 1800s.

Good to very good condition. This one weighs 33 grams and is in fine condition as you can see from the images. Some surface scratches and/or scuffing though with some edge 'nicks' so we've addressed that in the lower price. We'll also go over it with our wheel polisher before sending, that should bring it back to a higher luster with less visibility to the scuffing. See pictures for measurements.
