Fabulous and rare Antique French Napoleon III to Belle Epoque era blue opaline glass scent bottle, fully shrouded in pierced or reticulated brass or glided bronze and complete with FIVE souvenir Parisian landmarks including the world famous Notre Dame cathedral, Napoleon's Pillar in Vendome, Bourse and the Hotel des Invalides + ! One of several charming 1800s souvenir items we currently have available, this one with what appears to be Grand Tour style prints on card rather than the back-painted glass (eglomise) or hand painted views of monuments of Paris (though they are hand colored), all under the original drop beveled or slightly convex glass. All iconic architectural monuments of Paris. Thick opaque blue opaline glass under the pierced brass or bronze shroud and it even has the original glass stopper intact. Very good condition for age and type. This c.1860-90s fine blue opaline glass and pressed brass or bronze souvenir scent bottle, flask, is without a single tiny chip. All bright brass fittings, shrouding and bask panels are free of loss. Lovely condition! Some age darkening to the brass or bronze, a few minor bends evident in the round souvenir scene framing but no chips, cracks or other damage. Original stopper. See images for measurements.
