Fabulous antique French hand carved mother of pearl & silvered or nickel plated brass 3 7/8" tobacco pipe, a fantastic bird's claw clutching the pearl bowl and in the original fitted box or etui!  Small for a tobacco pipe but too neat for me to pass by.  The bowl and stem or neck are solid shimmering mother of pearl, the rim of the bowl perhaps gold but we've not tested it.  Wonderful, perfect for the collector and perfectly usable.

Very good condition.  The tip of the mouthpiece has a chip to the bottom edge and there is wear/loss to the silvered or nickel finish on the brass portion.  The box is in great shape.  See pictures for all measurements.
