Still in their original case, looking for all the world as if they've never been out of it nor used at all, this 19th century hand carved desk set, writer's tools, implements set is in pristine condition. There is not a chip, nip, hairline nor restoration anywhere. The wax seal matrix has not been monogrammed yet, and all you need is the desired pen nib for your preference (they can be purchased in all sizes online). Beautiful old set still in the original presentation case, likely a Grand Tour souvenir. Noted up top, Souvenir de Granville". Measurements noted on the photos.
Very good to excellent condition for age and type. Napoleon III era (c.1848-70), mid-Victorian. The set is like new, no use apparent and no damage at all. The outer case shows age, but is still remarkably intact. No warping, no breaks.
