A sweet little desktop or side table book stack opens to reveal itself as a liqueur caddy. This is an antique and vintage set, top 2 books are antique leather bound and the bottom portion, a more sturdy construction of faux books. The hardware is excellent, the glassware is excellent, and you'll be well pleased to put this one to use. We've had a number of these over the years. Some of the very old ones are almost to fall apart. Or the stopper or cups go missing. So a compromise here to have a lovely look and feel of the very old ones, but also a sturdy one at a lower price. Just in from France. We have a really old one coming in, in case you want all leather books.
Very good condition for age and type. There are no flaws to the glass. The outer cave, caddy, is very appealing. With the top books being leather, all the feel of the very old sets but none of the flaws. Measurements are noted on the photos but it is 7.25" x 5" at base, and is just under 6" tall, closed. Love these on a side table.
