Elegant antique French PUIFORCAT sterling silver 2" napkin ring with Louis XV or rococo style spiraled pattern in moderate bas relief, vermeil or gold plated interior, nice weight at 35 grams and a unique "Madame" inscription! A perfect match for another pair that we're adding today, that pair with interlaced "his & her" style monograms and also Puiforcat. The silversmith mark on this one is hardly visible, obscured somewhat by the rocaille but it's definitely for Maison Puiforcat, (EP for Emile Puiforcat), maker to royalty. It also bears the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" in the upper right corner means it's in .950 silver (95% pure so higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). One of host of other fabulous French napkin rings & sterling silver treasures so, be sure to browse some while you’re with us. Thanks!

Very good condition. This one weighs 35 grams, built to last, great condition as you can see from the images. Faint surface scuffing and tarnish in the deep recessed areas and a bit of wear to the vermeil interior possible but no dents, damage or repairs to note. See pictures for measurements.
