Okay, so I can't tell which I like more, the box or the implements but no need to choose since they come together. The box is the type of Napoleon III piece, in ebonized wood with brass inlays and large cartouche, that would sell for around $400 on its own. Three of the implements are original and one is a replacement, a slightly different pattern but close enough. The replacement bears the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the others with the tiny French weevil hallmark meaning that they're in .800 or better silver content. No silversmith marks that I can see but the inside of the box lid has a gold embossed marking that reads "Orfevrerie Bijouterie de Religion, Mon Vachette, C. Waag Neveu & Succ., 54 Quai des Orfevres, Paris". A wonderful set, don't miss them!
Very good condition. The box is in fabulous shape, working lock with key. As mentioned, the knife shaped piece is a replacement, no a perfect match but close enough. There is a small split in the handle of the fork piece, our silversmith could fix that for around $40 if you wish but it really has no bearing on its usability. See pictures for individual weights and measurements.
