Fine antique French hallmarked sterling silver handled 5pc serving implement or utensil set including meat carving knife & fork, gigot, salad fork & spoon and all in the original storage and/or presentation box! A relatively simple pattern for French sterling, this has a near Art Deco or Mid Century Modern look to it wit the raised fluted style. All handles bear the French Minerve or Minerva, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks appear to be for Lowcay et Henry, Paris circa 1921. Wonderful, don't miss them!
Very good condition. The knife blade is in pre-stainless steel so you do have some age darkened tarnish or corrosion marks. Silver-plated fork tines and gigot tip, some black spots on tines. See pictures for all measurements.
