Lovely vintage French aperitif sized cut glass & sterling silver cup & spoon set, each with laurel band patterns and kept in the original fitted storage and/or presentation box! Both the cup and spoon have matching hallmarks. Both with the French Minerve or Minerva mark, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they"re in .950 silver (95% pure so higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks are most likely for Sala & Comoz, Paris circa 1922-1928. A lovely pair, whether you present as a gift to a child or decide itâs better suited as an elegant aperitif service for one!
Very good condition. No chips, cracks or damage to the thin, elegant faceted glass insert, no dents or damage to the silver. There is some wear to the vermeil plating on the spoonâs bowl and a bit of tarnish visible but no actual damage. See pictures for individual weights and measurements.
