Lovely antique French Belle Epoque era hallmarked sterling silver & intaglio etched or engraved crystal or glass liqueur decanter or oversized perfume or cologne bottle, romantic themed musical instruments with guilloche style silver cap and original stopper! One of a few singles and/or sets of matching antique to vintage French sterling topped vanity sets that I've recently been working on, getting ready for listing so, if you're looking for a few pieces to display in a guest or master bath, be sure to browse a little while you'™re with us. They really do add a touch of elegance, displayed on an old silver tray or even just by themselves, grouped near the sink perhaps. This a single and could either be a smaller liqueur or liquor decanter or an oversized perfume or cologne.  The silver cap and collar both bear the post-1838 French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the tiny number "1" within those marks means they're all in .950 silver (95% pure and higher than the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith mark appears to be for Amedee Gravoin, Paris circa 1902-1933.

Very good condition. There is a bit of cloudiness to the inside of the decanter, visible in the images, and a few small base chips but no cracks, etc. A small dimple or two possible to the silver top but no larger dents, damage or repairs to note. See pictures for all measurements.
