Elegant antique English Edwardian era sterling silver & cut crystal or glass 6pc vanity set including covered jars & perfume or cologne bottles with ornate large interlaced monograms and wonderful condition! One of a few sets of matching antique to vintage French & English sterling topped vanity sets that we’ve recently added so, if you’re looking for a few pieces to display in a guest or master bath, be sure to browse a little while you’re with us. They really do add a touch of elegance, displayed on an old silver tray or even just by themselves, grouped near the sink perhaps. This set consisting of two perfume or cologne bottles, two cylindrical jars and two rectangular jars, one with a unique inner lid in vermeil. I can’t quite tell but the monograms are some combination of “FC" or "CF” I believe… The silver portions all bear the silversmith marks for Mappin & Webb, a notable and sought after English maker. The date marks are for 1910. Lovely!
Very good condition. No chips, cracks or damage. Some surface scuffing to the silver and possibly a tiny dimple or two but no larger dents, damage or repairs to note. See pictures for all measurements.
