Ready to either frame or make up as the focal front panel in a luxuriously trimmed and down-filled decorator pillow, this panel is thick-worked wool yarn needlepoint, very slightly faded by age (see back side for original brilliant colors) to a very appealing palette I like even better than the original. The panel is 25" tall, 20" wide, nicely worked rectangle, no holes and beautiful as wall art or fabulous for a pillow top.
Very good to excellent condition, likely Victorian though we have no date. The girl who did the needlework has signed her name in stitches, Mary Jane Lloyd. I've shown in photos that one can reduce in size and eliminate that signature for your project. I always intended to make it up as a pillow top - clean, no odors, no losses or holes - very sturdy canvas, and from my life-long collections/stash at warehouse. I'd love to see what you make of it!
