Very fine antique 19th century hand painted figural Staffordshire pocket watch, clock or pendant display stand, two delightfully colorful court style figures with exotic birds or peacocks & foliage and incorporated rear pocket with 2 1/4" view! English traditional charming pottery so popular for your English Manor house decor. The statue or fixture is in fine shape, is 8.5" wide and 2.5" deep front to back (not counting the protruding pocket). Hand painted pottery.
Good to very good condition for age and type. There is some crazing and a few visible hairline cracks but no actual breaks other than the missing and restored neck & head of the left side peacock. There is roughened spot on the right side gent's had rim and a bit of a rub to the left lady's nose. The base has an enamel number marking of "4". Charming. The piece weighs 2 lbs, 7 oz.
