Lovely antique French hallmarked 18k gold on sterling silver "vermeil" 6pc teaspoon set with ornate flower & seashell accented rococo style pattern and "Dean" inscription! Beautiful, virtually dripping gold! All bear the French Minerve or Minerva hallmark, the curved outer shaping and tiny number "2" within those marks means they're in .800 or better silver under the gold (at least 80% pure silver so just under the .925 standard for "sterling" silver). The silversmith marks are visible, "LH", though I've not found reference to the maker or been able to narrow the date of manufacture. Surely mid to late 1800s though and gorgeous!
Very good to excellent condition. No damage to note and I see no loss or wear to the vermeil plating. See pictures for weights and measurements.
