Elegant antique French silver plate 22pc fish or dessert service including a 2pc setting for ten in forks & knives with two larger serving pieces, all with a lovely Empire or Aesthetic style pattern and all in wonderful condition! All of the style and visual appeal of fine old French sterling silver but at a fraction of the cost. We sometimes come across beautiful French silver plated sets that we can't pass by and can only keep them in stock for basically as long as it takes us to photograph and list them. Gorgeous pieces all, all heavy and with thick, fully intact French silver plating and all bear the old French plate marks. These also bear the silversmith marks for Cailard & Bayard of Paris, circa early 1900s. A fabulous set, don't miss them!
Excellent condition. I see no loss or wear to the silver plating and all pieces are as near pristine as can be. The larger serving fork may have a tiny bit of bending to the tips of a tine or two but, as you can see, all pieces are superb. See pictures for weights and measurements.
