Fine 18k yellow gold mourning brooch, Victorian era, 2.75" Long. Kiln-fired enamel (black) and fine seed pearls on three .5" pyramid-like medallions. Hinged pin back with c-clamp. Pin is also 18k gold. Total weight is 9.69 grams. I'm working through my stashes of jewelry, antique to vintage, all fine quality. Gold, diamonds, pearls, seed pearls, mourning, Victorian, Georgian, Edwardian, and vintage, too. Be sure to watch for more and more to be listed over weeks ahead. Closing it all out. Thanks!
Excellent condition for age and type. No dents, no bends. Heavy, splendid, men's or ladies' bar brooch, nearly 3" across. I find no flaws to note. Enamel remains very well preserved, and seed pearls are superb, high pearlescent. Perfect for a bar tie or cravat pin, a cape pin or lapel. Not the depth of the pyramid-like roundels, and the fine bespoke hand crafted goldsmith's item. Top quality!
