Superb and large set of 10 excellently preserved c.1920s LENOX dinner plates, finest quality gold encrusted, our favorite cream border on white porcelain with the added raised gold 'gem' jeweling in drapery in a Sevres blue/teal color. The plates were originally made and back-marked to be sold through J B HUDSON & Son, Minneapolis, MINN. which was a luxury goods purveyor of note early 1900s. Full measurements noted on the photos.
Excellent for age and type, there are no chips, no damage nor restorations, no crazing to the glazes. These are exquisite plates, preserved perfectly for more than 100 years. I've looked over each one. I see the very faintest utensil scrape on 1, but only at an angle of view, and it does not detract. Otherwise, no evidence of use at all. No loss to jewel dots, nor to the heavy gold encrustation, either. Rich, luxurious set you'll love to use and display. Again, set of 10.
