Beautiful antique French Louis XVI style gilded bronze 6 3/4" tall picture frame with ornate bow & ribbon top and unique gilded inner mat! This one retains its original inner, separate, pressed brass or gilt bronze mat which is quite unique and definitely gorgeous! Heavy and virtually dripping gold :). Very good to excellent condition. A slight bend or two visible from the back side around the edges and the actual back panel with easel appear to have been salvaged from another antique frame and not original to the piece but works perfectly for the intended purpose.
