Found last year here near Beverly Hills, it was just a fun item added to a large group from an estate disbursal. This is unusual for us, and I'm hoping I describe it correctly. Someone told me this is 'Coraline' decorative method, though it is an all-over texture and not just in more coral-like formations. Porcelain, hand crafted from 5 round balls and entirely hand decorated, it feels large enough to be a bud vase, really. Full measurements are noted on the photos.
Very good to excellent condition, Napoleon III ear prior description yet I think it more Belle Epoch, later than they had it marked. Delightful and fun for any collector of inkwells or antique French porcelain. I find no chips, no breaks, no cracks or flaws to note.
