Wonderful antique French Napoleon III era 8 3/4" tall vanity or hand mirror with ornate gilt bronze & colorful champleve enamel decoration and original shaped & beveled mirror! We just keep finding wonderful treasures that we thought we'd listed but somehow missed, this one a lovely vanity or hand mirror in thick, heavy bronze with a Louis XIV or Rococo styling and the added visual appeal of the champleve enamel inlay. A hang ring on the back so it'd make a wonderful wall-hanging decorative accent or, we've seen them with the silvering on the mirror stripped to clear for a delightful picture frame.
Very good to excellent condition. No damage or loss of enamel that I can see but there are a few tiny dark spots to the mirror's silvering. Original back, etc. and as lovely as can be. See images for all measurments.
