Elegant antique French sterling silver double open salt or sweet meat caddy with grapes or berries & foliage accented center handle and thick blown glass seashell shaped wells! The glass possibly Baccarat with the ribbed seashell shaping, no signature or marks though. The silver center handle is marked with a French Minerve #1, which guarantees we have fine .950/1000 (95% pure) French silver here, though, and that certainly speaks to the quality. The silversmith mark is for Massat Freres, Paris circa 1885. Use it for sweet meats at the table or side table, or as a large double open salt, it'll elevate the elegance of your table.
Very good condition. Possibly a tiny nip or two to the glass but no larger chips, no cracks, damage or repairs to note. Just gorgeous! See pictures for measurements.
