Fabulous large antique English 1917 hallmarked sterling silver & faux tortoise shell 14.75" vanity or boudoir mirror in near pristine condition with original beveled mirror & easel stand! I just love these old sterling silver & tortoise shell pieces, always have. They're such an elegant decorative accent and this one's condition really can't be beat. A beautiful larger piece, rare to find and perfect as a dressing table or boudoir vanity mirror or, one could always strip the mirror and use as a large picture frame. It bears English sterling silver hallmarks, London date marks for 1917 and the silversmith mark is for Charles & Richard Comyns. A glorious piece, don't miss it!
Very good to excellent condition. A tiny black mark here and there on the mirror but no chips or cracks to note. The same applies to the faux tortoise shell mat, with no chips or cracks. The back and easel stand are fully intact and original with just some age/wear to the fabric coverings. See pictures for all measurements.
