RARE set of 3 testable 19th century Copeland semi-porcelain platters, ranging from 17" to 13" in width, ovals with fluted pattern and scalloped rims accented in gold. The stunning pattern will mix-match with most any antique English flow blue china, plates, dishes, either for table or display. Cabinet or shelf, the impact is stunning! Adding to the  rarity of the set is the fine condition they are in. Photos show each, and all angles of view of edges which have a bit of rub to the applied gold rim, but not a single chip or crack. Quite amazing! Full measurements noted on our photos.

Very good to excellent condition for age and type, graduated in size, the set of 3 are in the "May" pattern, and the Copeland England registration mark dates the set c.1890. No chips, no hairlines, no cracks, no evidence of restoration. Beautifully laid transfers - top quality work. Possibly some light overglaze crazing in some places, commensurate with age. None finer! Opulent blue & white, just barely late for Victorian by only 3 years!
