Fabulous antique Victorian era 6.5" tall picture frame PAIR, each in genuine hand carved & incised animal bone and in wonderful condition! One can tell that these carved veneers are ox or bovine bone due to the 'dot' like striations visible in the close-up photos. They look like ivory but are actually bone but equally rare and these have been wonderfully preserved over the past 100+ years. Very good condition, materials and age considered. The glass has been replaced in each. Wall hanging only at the moment with original hang rings on the tops and the backs have newer beige moire style fabric coverings. See images for all measurements.
